Analog Dog makes genre fluid music in the strangest city in America, San Francisco, USA. Hailing from all corners of the country, the band came together in and around the hallowed musical breeding grounds of Golden Gate Park, with an intention of breaking free from the modern malaise and transcending the internet. Honoring the vibrations of the psychedelic revolution of the 1960s with big guitar-driven hooks and stacked vocal harmonies, while simultaneously embracing modern indie pop / nu-disco / jazz fusion soundscapes, Analog Dog is it's own thing.
Born in a basement in a little town called Space, the embodiment of interstellar dirt, the grime between the toes of the cosmos. Ghost Kick is the creation of SF based singer and multi instrumentalist Austin Waz & Oakland born music producer RIDL. Fully realized and human, they now deal in breakbeats and broken hearts, sending signals to fellow descendants of the stars. Some have said that the music is a true entanglement of Daft Punk, Jamiroquai, Franc Moody & some other unknown cosmic elements. Emotional disco is here, come dance with Ghost Kick.
Somewhere out there between folk and fury, where jazz rocks out and rock takes a breath, there's an expanse of musical terrain waiting to be explored. Pretty in Between was the amalgamation of these styles and sounds, and the first San Francisco based project of Austin Waz. Founded in 2014, the band was active for a few years, with their efforts culminating in a self titled 8 track LP that touched on an array of genres and moods.
Austin Waz’s first fully fleshed out live electronic band, Odakota was the initial cosmic stepping stone for his life’s work. Formed with his soul mate Sanjay John at the University of California, San Diego, the band was a deep embrace of soulful and psychedelic music. During their final year of school, Odakota wrote and recorded an 8 song concept LP which perfectly encapsulates the band’s esoteric and spiritual ethic and mission. The Color Of What Is became Austin Waz’s first official LP release.
